The Evakit Filter Straw is Designed to Transform Natural Water into Safe and Healthy Drinking Water.

The Evakit S2 filter straw is an essential component of your emergency bag, designed to ensure access to drinking water in abnormal situations, whether it’s a service interruption or an evacuation. It allows you to transform an untreated water source into safe-to-drink water, a vital capability when the usual supply is compromised.

Technical and Filtration Features

This filter straw uses a dual technology to guarantee the safety and quality of your water:

• Hollow Fiber UF (Ultrafiltration) Membrane: The filter, with a fineness of 0.1 μm, is designed to eliminate common threats from contaminated water. It removes 99.9999% of waterborne bacteria, 99.99% of protozoan parasites, and 99.999% of microplastics.
• Coconut Shell Activated Carbon: This technology reduces chlorine, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and other harmful chemicals. It is also effective in eliminating unpleasant odors and improving water taste.

The straw has a filtration lifespan of 1,500 liters and a flow rate of 600 ml/min, or 450 ml/min, which ensures rapid access to drinking water when needed.

• Safe Materials (FDA certified): The straw’s components are made of acrylonitrile copolymer and polyethylene, materials that have been certified compliant with U.S. FDA regulations.
• Filtration Performance (SGS certified): Tests have shown that the filter is capable of effectively eliminating microorganisms. The removal rate for Candida albicans, a yeast strain, was 99.97% at the beginning of filtration and 99.13% after filtering 1,500 liters.
