GENERAL QUESTIONS
Evakit offers compact, waterproof emergency kits to help you evacuate serenely and guarantee your autonomy and comfort during the first (crucial) 72 hours of a crisis. Each kit is designed to make preparedness simple, accessible and reassuring.
Yes, Evakit will be available in all EU countries. Our approach is multilingual, with an initial phase in French and English – followed by German, Polish and Spanish. Our content and guides are adapted to regional specificities (natural hazards, geopolitical risks, etc.).
On the contrary, it’s a sensible and recommended precaution. In 2025, several European countries are officially recommending that all their citizens have an emergency kit at home. It’s like insurance: you hope you’ll never need it, but you’re relieved to have it if you do. Evakit is pragmatically designed to meet essential needs for 72 hours, in line with official recommendations.
We clearly distinguish ourselves from the survivalist approach. Our philosophy is based on calm, reasoned preparedness, far removed from survivalist clichés. On the contrary, we believe that serenity needs to be prepared, and this is reflected in our approach: to offer practical, accessible solutions for being ready without falling into paranoia or excess. We prefer education and rational preparedness to fear and alarmism. We’re not going to teach you how to fish with your shoelaces. We’re not going to teach you how to shoot zombies with a crossbow. Evakit is a concrete response to real risks, which are unfortunately bound to repeat and intensify.
We are actively working on the use of sustainable materials, in particular R-PET for bag manufacture. Our aim is to reconcile efficiency and environmental responsibility.

ABOUT KITS
Evakit kits are modular, watertight assemblies, organized into 5 labeled modules. They include : – A hand-crank radio (with flashlight and phone charger) – Glow sticks – A survival blanket – A sleeping bag – A filter mask – A filter straw – Survival rations – Long-life water – A first-aid kit And lots of other essential equipment, all perfectly in line with the recommendations of governments and experts in disruption of normality. You can find every component here.
At launch, 2 Evakits are available: Solo (for one person) and Duo (for 2 people). We are already developing other solutions which will be launched at a later date.
In addition to the products available at launch, Evakit Solo and Evakit Duo, we are actively working on Evakit Kids, a bag with contents and instructions specifically designed for children, and Evakit Pets, an emergency solution for pets.
Items such as glow sticks, food and water have a shelf life of 5 years. We have selected products for their quality and longest shelf life. No batteries in the radio and flashlight also means zero maintenance and peace of mind.
Evakit is designed, engineered and assembled in France, for European Union member countries. Assembly is carried out by hand on our premises in France, with rigorous quality control of each component. The components and bag are sourced from international suppliers selected for their quality and certifications (France, Spain, Norway, China).
FEATURES
Yes, the bag is totally waterproof and submersible. It’s made from high-frequency-welded 840D TPU fabric and even has flotation capabilities.
Yellow is chosen for its high visibility in poor conditions, enabling better identification in emergency situations. This bag is designed for civilians, and our idea is not to turn them into superheroes: a black or military-green bag may look great, but if you’re using Evakit, in 99.99% of situations you want to be spotted by rescue teams because you’re in a situation that requires help. We also didn’t want you to be confused with paramedics or qualified emergency personnel in a situation where you need to be rescued and helped, so we didn’t use the colors red and orange. Our yellow bag has become a real signature, and like everything else, the color chosen is the fruit of a real strategy of reflection.
Yes, the Evakit bag is equipped with a double valve that allows two different configurations depending on use: to expel as much air as possible from the bag to limit the space needed to store it, or on the contrary, to add air, inflating the bag and giving it perfect buoyancy and allowing the user to push or pull it across the water, or even hold on to it.
Evakit is designed to be durable and low-maintenance. We recommend that you check the expiration dates on the day you receive your Evakit, in particular by following our quick and easy discovery protocol – Keep the bag clean and dry – Carry out an annual inspection of the contents – Follow the maintenance recommendations specific to each item.
Evakit Solo (for one person) weighs just 5kg, and Evakit Duo (for 2 adults) weighs 7.5kg. We’ve stayed well below the recommended limits to ensure perfect portability and agility.
